Also known as Chines Fringe Flowers, it is easy to see why. In late autumn, the stunning compact foliage produces fresh new growth, prior to the arrival of the fluffy scented flowers that almost cover the greenery throughout the winter and spring, looking like freshly fallen snow. The foliage is so dense that they are great when planted 'en masse' they look amazing as a low screen or hedge, or alternatively Loropetalum Ruby Snow is beautiful when trained and shaped against a wall, trellis or obelisk. Excellent as cut flowers for your home, Loropetalum are wonderful low maintenance plants that prefer to be grown in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained in part shade.
