Description - This attractive, early-flowering perennial will help liven up the woodland floor in spring. It forms a good-sized clump of slender, pointed leaves, which are generously daubed in silver. The flaring bell-shaped flowers form in clusters, and are held above the foliage on upright stems, opening pink, but turning blue as they age. This, coupled with the silvery foliage, which may be retained during milder winters and shows some resistance to powdery mildew, creates a very colourful effect.
