Plant name - Spathiphyllum bingo cupido
Ultimate height: Will grow to approx 70cm
Light: Bright, indirect sun light.
Water: Keep the compost moist to the touch but do not overwater. Mist the leaves regularly, and clean them with a damp cloth to prevent a build up of dust. Keep away from cold draughts or direct sunlight.
Temperature: Average household temperatures are fine with a minimum of 10°C.
Feed: During the growing period add feed to the watering can (once a month using fertiliser for flowering houseplants). The peace lily prefers a humid atmosphere, especially in the winter - beware of central heating! Stand the plant somewhere cool (around 15 degrees centigrade) in the winter. Leaves that turn brown and faded flower stems can be snipped off.
Description: The 'flowers' of this peace lily are much larger than average, and as they appear in good number, they put on a really impressive display. They are held by stout stems, which rise just above the broad deep green foliage, which offers a superb backdrop. Not only do these plants look great, but they also have the added benefit of helping to purify the air.
Toxicity - Harmful if eaten/skin & eye irritant
