Care Guide
- Light: All three plants thrive in bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch leaves. The Ficus Robusta is the most tolerant of lower light levels, while the Alocasia Polly and Dieffenbachia prefer consistent, filtered brightness.
- Watering: Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry between waterings. These tropical houseplants enjoy consistent moisture but should never sit in waterlogged conditions. Reduce watering in winter. Mist foliage regularly to maintain humidity, especially for the Alocasia Polly.
- Temperature & Humidity: Preferred temperatures between 16–24°C. Keep away from cold draughts and radiators. All three respond well to household humidity but appreciate occasional misting or placement on a pebble tray.
- Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid houseplant feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer. No feeding is required over winter when growth slows.
- Soil & Repotting: Use a well-draining, peat-free houseplant compost. Repot in spring when roots fill the container.
- General Care: Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to keep plants looking their best. Wipe large leaves with a damp cloth to maintain their glossy appearance and support healthy growth.
Notes: This collection is ideal as an indoor plant gift set or for anyone looking to build a bold, leafy plant display. Dieffenbachia sap can irritate skin and is toxic if ingested – handle with care and keep out of reach of children and pets.
