General Care Tips for This Collection

  • Light: All three plants prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage. The Spider Plant is the most tolerant of lower light conditions.

  • Watering: Water when the top layer of compost begins to dry out. The two Maranta varieties prefer slightly more consistent moisture and benefit from higher humidity. Using tepid, filtered or rainwater can help prevent brown leaf tips.

  • Humidity: Group these plants together to create a naturally more humid microclimate. Regular misting or placing on a pebble tray with water will also help, particularly for the prayer plants.

  • Feeding: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in autumn and winter.

  • Repotting: Repot into slightly larger containers when roots begin to emerge from the drainage holes, typically every 1–2 years, using a good quality peat-free houseplant compost.

Notes: All three plants in this collection are recognised as non-toxic to cats and dogs, making this a wonderful choice for pet-friendly households. Plants are supplied in 1 litre root balls. Decorative pots are not included. As these are living plants, size and appearance may vary slightly from any images shown.
